In August 2007, Western New York’s top soccer clubs, the Rochester Junior Rhinos, Syracuse Football Club and Buffalo United Soccer Club joined together to form the Empire United Soccer Academy. 

The Empire United SA Rochester Boys U17 Blue team captured the US Club Soccer National Championship last week with a 1 – 0 win over North Stars (PA) in the Premier Division final on Monday, August 2^nd.

It’s time to start cleaning up the website and preparing to make the transition to the new 2010-11 season.  Over the next couple of weeks, I will begin to archive all of the information on each team’s private and public team pages.  None of the information will be deleted, but you will no longer have access to it through your team pages. 

The team traveled to Philadelphia, PA over the July 4th weekend and battled some fierce competition from PA, NJ, and Long Island, NY in the sweltering 100+ degree heat.  The girls survived the heat and played to a 1-1 draw in the championship game against a tough team from Long Island.  The game was decided in a shootout and the Empire girls prevailed 3-0.
